This Legal Notice provides the identification and general information required under Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSICE) for the website spanishhealthinsurance.es.

1. Website

spanishhealthinsurance.es is an independent, English-language information and comparison website about private health insurance in Spain. It does not underwrite insurance or sell policies directly. Enquiries submitted through the site are arranged through one of the regulated insurance distributors identified below, and the regulated Spanish insurers they work with.

2. Regulated insurance distributors

Each distributor is registered with the Dirección General de Seguros y Fondos de Pensiones (DGSFP) in the Administrative Register of Insurance and Reinsurance Distributors, and is subject to its supervision.

3. Supervisory authority

Insurance distribution in Spain is supervised by the Dirección General de Seguros y Fondos de Pensiones (DGSFP), part of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business. The register of distributors can be consulted on the DGSFP website (dgsfp.mineco.gob.es).

4. Purpose of the site

The site provides general information and a quote/callback service to help English-speaking expats find suitable private health insurance in Spain. It is not advice (see our Terms & Conditions), and any prices shown are indicative only and subject to insurer acceptance and policy terms.

5. Intellectual property

The content, design, text, graphics and source code of this site are owned by or licensed to the site operator and protected by intellectual-property law. Reproduction, distribution or commercial exploitation without written authorisation is prohibited.
